Sister Theresa Mary and Sister Lucia Entrance to Novitiate

"The Lord called me before I was born, while I was still in my mother’s womb he named me. . . ‘I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.’ " (Isaiah 49. 1,6) These blessed words from the prophet Isaiah were proclaimed at Mass on Friday, June 24th, 2016, Solemnity of the Birth of John the Baptist. In the evening, these words had special meaning for two of our newer members, Sister Lucia (Hong Nhung) Tran from Vietnam and Sister Theresa Mary (Chinwendu) Amadi from Nigeria. At a beautiful community ceremony of "Rite of Initiation into Religious Life," our two new Sisters joyfully began their Novitiate, a 2-year span of time of drawing closer to God, and of living more intensely the spirit and charisms of the Congregation of the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood. Be assured that our two new novices will daily carry you and your loved ones in their hearts and prayers, and we ask your prayers for them.
