Sister Norita Espena Entrance to Novitiate

The Feast of St. Catherine of Siena, April 29, 2015, will remain as a very blessed day for the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood!  On this day, Norita Espena, having completed her postulancy,  became a novice in our Congregation.  The simple, yet beautiful ceremony was held at our Motherhouse, London ON.  The ceremony is called the Rite of Initiation into Religious Life, and, with this ceremony, the candidate now becomes a Sister.  She remains a novice for two years before moving on to Profession of Vows, if God leads her in this way.

Sr. Norita began her preparations for this great day by a 3-day silent retreat.  It was a blessed time that allowed her to gather up her memories of the past, with gratitude, as well as commit herself to Christ Jesus in the present and look to the future with firm confidence in God, as did our Foundress, Mother Catherine Aurelia.  May God bless our new Sister, with every grace in her ministry of prayer for the world. Be assured her prayers and those of all your Precious Blood Sisters are with you and your loved ones each day.  God bless you!
