Entrance to Postulancy
January 21, 2019, the Feast of St. Agnes, was a was a doubly-blessed day for all our Religious Family of Precious Blood Sisters! On this day Juliet Onuoha and Judith Okafor, both from Nigeria, having completed their ‘Community Experience’, were admitted to membership in our Congregation and became Postulants in a simple and beautiful ceremony. At the end of Mass our chaplain blessed two white candles, then gave them to the new Postulants. Father then prayed a very meaningful prayer of Blessing on Juliet and Judith as they began their membership with the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood. This joyous ceremony ended with a ‘Greeting of Peace’ from all our Community present at the Mass. Please pray for Juliet and Judith as they grow daily in their following of Christ. Be assured of their prayers for you each day.
On February 2, 2019, the blessed Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, and the ‘Day for Consecrated Life,’ our Religious Family joyfully welcomed Marie Wisener, our new Postulant, as a member of the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood. Marie is from Prince Edward Island, and came to know about our Community when our Sisters lived in Charlottetown. Through prayer and her ‘Community Experience’, Marie discerned God’s Call to the contemplative, monastic way of life of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. Please pray for Marie, and know that she will carry you in her daily prayers.
